Map Fields in a Design File

  1. Load the design file.
  2. If the file you have selected contains data in description fields and was not created in MineSched or AUD, the Import Centreline Design form appears.

  3. Click the cell above the parameter field to display the list of MineSched parameters.
  4. Select the MineSched parameter to which you want to assign the parameter field.
  5. If the MineSched parameter to which you want to assign the parameter field to does not exist in the list, create a user parameter:
    1. Click Configure user parameters.
    2. The User Parameters form appears.

    3. Click Insert.
    4. A new row appears in the User parameters grid.

    5. In the Name column, type a name for the parameter.
    6. In the Type column, select the parameter type.
    7. If the Type is Numeric, in the Weight by column, select the quantity value to weight by.
    8. In the Background value column, type a background value.
    9. Click Close.
    10. The new parameter appears in the parameters list.

  6. Select or clear the Import parameters from segment start and end points only check box.
    • To import data from only the start and end points of lines, select the Import parameters from segment start and end points only check box.
    • If you have data that is important to the design and the data changes along a line (for example, changes in ground support or mining cost), clear the Import parameters from segment start and end points only check box.

Note: Importing from only start and end points of each line is the recommended method for importing parameters.

  7. Click OK.
